Notes: μήν is an emphatic particle, often used to add emphasis to other particles such as ἀλλά, οὐ, οὖν (e.g., ἀλλὰ μὴν, οὐ μὴν, μὴν οὖν, ναὶ μὴν etc.). It does not inflect and does not have person, number, tense, mood, voice, case, gender, or degree. It is typically used in poetry and prose to strengthen a statement or transition.
